Liverpool could bid for Arsenal attacker Andrey Arshavin this coming January.
Arshavin’s starts for Arsenal have become more limited this season with manager Arsene Wenger preferring Gervinho and Theo Walcott on the flanks.
This has reportedly prompted Liverpool to cast their eye over the Russian international and consider a bid next month with Arshavin’s contract running out next summer meaning the Reds could get a cheap deal.
Arshavin’s form in English football for Arsenal has been mixed with his highlight coming against Liverpool when he hit four goals at Anfield back in 2009.
